Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

What is the History of Spiritual Healing?

Spiritual Healing traced as bible practices have ancient roots appearing in various forms across different cultures as African, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Indian practices and Shamanism. The modern spiritual healing is associated with spiritualism and spiritism movement and in United the Kingdom is recognised as a complementary therapy.

Spiritual Healing explicitly mentions the spiritual dimension, the single world "healing" is used in the United Kingdom because the practice is understood to work on all levels of a person being, embodying the ancient principle of restoring wholeness rather than simply treating symptoms. In the United Kingdom the practice is commonly referred as "healing" because the term inherently encompasses the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of a person`s wellbeing, rather than just a physical cure. The word "healing" itself derives from the old english word "haelan", meaning "whole", signifying a process of restoring wholeness to the entire being, not just treating symptoms also in the United Kingdom, spiritual healing has various different practitioners and settings, so the term spiritual is not taken literally. The reason healing is called spiritual is because the energy channelled does not come from the healer but rather through the healer. There are various forms as energy and techniques aimed to promoting self-healing and well-being as well as reiki, johrei, pranic healing, magnetic pass, etc and each person chooses the one that resonates with them the most, as I follow the root line of spiritual healing as I explain a little bit about them.

There are healers who attending in spiritualist churches and in complementary therapies settings such as clinics and hospitals. In spiritualist churches and centres healers do not charge, as all donations received go to the place of service, however, outside these places, healers charge for their services and the fees vary from one to another, in hospitals almost healers attending free of charge although a few hospitals hire healers to provide assistance. In the United Kingdom, it is not possible to attending as healer without two years training, assessment panel and need to be a registered member of the recognized healing organization. In the clinical settings and complementary therapies, the healers must have a healer membership of a nationally recognised organization despite the healing abilities that each individual inherently possesses as part of being human also the independent healers can attending privately but can`t in the previously mentioned places due to regulation. There are several types of healers: religious and non-religious, so each one has their own way of approach, but the energy is universal, therefore, regardless of which healer you receive treatment from. See where your heart is touched and go for it with an open heart!

Frequently asked questions about the differences in Spiritual Healing.

What is the difference between Spiritual Healing and Reiki?

From a casual point of view there won`t appear to be much difference at all. The main differences are in the training and approach. Spiritual Healers are taught how to attune directly with the Source and know to allow that energy to flow directly from that Source. Reiki on the other hand are attuned or initiated via their teacher, known as a Reiki Master who installs various etheric symbols into their energy field through which the healing energy flows to the recipient. Spiritual Healers must have been through a two-year training, a daily practice of self-healing, spiritual development programme, volunteering in the centre while doing the training and do the assessment panel in order to be registered. In my point of view the must and important thing is to never stop giving healing from the heart not focusing solely on techniques because in the end healing is much more than that, take good care of yourself every day in all aspects because more you know yourself consequently better chance of perhaps understanding others. Spiritual Healing is not an instant miracle although it can happen in some people, but we know it`s not exactly a miracle or a paranormal activity but a complementary therapy for that reason healers need to be registered to be able to attend in the United Kingdom.

Will a Healer cure me?

Healers can never promise a cure. The process of Healing is unique to every being, for me is more important to know what you do with this energy.

Can everyone be a Healer?

Spiritual Healing is not a special talent, a gift, a magic power or a special energy and intuitive sense because everyone has it too, the difference is that some people listening their feelings and intuition and others don`t then consequently some are sharper than others. Everyone has a healing energy (believers or not) even an atheist can be a healer. In my opinion healing comes from the heart, empathy, the simplicity and genuine intent of your own vibration to deliver, self-awareness that you have and transmit to the others, is not only about transmission hands on but much more.

Is it necessary to ask permission to send a Distant Healing?

No because everything and everyone is interconnected already when we send the energy of love and compassion to another person it doesn`t matter if they know we are sending it. The important thing is that the energy of love is being sent out into the world as a prayer. If a healer send healing collectively it is obvious that they do not have individual permission, obviously some people will receive the benefits and others will not notably, remembering that everyone receive the energy.

Yes If applying Distant Healing for someone else in particular please ask their permission first no one should be placed on a D. H without their knowledge or agreement because some people may feel intrusion, specially in the clinical settings, non-believers, sensitive people and also some people may have mental issues may concern about it. We healers always follow the code of conduct so we do it with permission and consent to the patient & client.

Is Spiritual Healing applied with hands on or not?

Always ask about touching on some specific points with hands on. Healing does not need to be touched and some people may prefer it which is completely accepted and will receive the energy in the same way.
